Hydrapel TF™ coating is an integral part of Ride’s fabric, meaning there is no concern about the coating separating from the fabric. The fabric’s waterproof portion features closed pores in the coating so no water or air can penetrate though, while the breathable portion allows moisture vapor to escape through its construction.

Teflon® DWR (Durable Water Repellency) fabric protection from DuPont™ is an invisible water-repellent finish applied to the outer shell of every garment. Rather than soaking into the fibers, water beads up on the surface area and rolls off the fabric. Without DWR, your jacket/pant would feel like a wet dishrag no matter how expensive it was.
