Modular FLEX CONTROL bridge is inserted into rear lower inside shell to regulate flex stiffness and range of flexing motion. Features 3 different FLEX SETTING configurations. Flex Bridge NOT Inserted – SOFT ; Bridge Inserted LOW Position - MEDUIM ; Bridge Inserted HIGH Position - STIFF.
Low hinging point permits cuff to follow natural anatomic movement of leg during dynamic flex. The result: Krypton boots are more stable and provide skiers with additional leverage and energy to ski more powerfully with less effort.
Exclusive Dalbello Technology: Independently functioning heel/instep closure strap (Dynalink Band) provides positive foothold with maximum retention. Closure assembly effectively minimizes boot distortion during flex. Because of the efficiency of the Dynalink System, the foot is held in securely in rear part of the boot. The foot can’t slide. The heel can’t lift.
Highly resilient polyamide (nylon), flex ribbed design stays in total contact with the leg throughout all phases of skiing for improved responsiveness and control. Interchangeable design. “RIDE” tongue (softer flex) is featured as standard equipment on the RAMPAGE .
Two different inserts: 4mm & 8 mm wedges are inserted at boot rear between lower shell and cuff.
