New for 2008 is the DC Torch Womens Snowboard Boot. The Womens Torch was designed for riders looking to dial in the fit of their boot and creaate a customized feel. The DC Womens Torch is only the second snowboard boot from DC to feature the BOA FOCUS SYSTEM. This is unique technology, now with 2 zones for tightening, evenly distributing pressure on both the lower and upper of the boot, not just the upper as in typical boot construction. The DC Womens Torch Freeride boot Features Articulated Upper construction it'll seem like instant boot break in while still maintaing support. The heel pull strap will ease entry into the torch, while the 3D TONGUE will create for a comfortable ride with less pinch points thanks to its ergonomic one piece construction. We've also integrated a rigid exoskeleton in the heel area of the boot for excellent support. And although the DC torch has all these features packed in, its overall weight is still relatively low profile for enhanced board feel, offers great uphill and downhill traction because of its directional rubber lugs and is lighweight thanks to the elimination of extra rubber via EVA cutouts. The DC Torch Snowboarding Boot comes equipped with DC's Command Liner.

SOLE FEATURES:

LINER FEATURES:
+ Directional Fiber Lining. The directional grain of the fabric in the heel area lets the foot slide easily into the boot, then it locks the foot in place, further preventing heel lift.
+ Support Beams. The support beam provides a balanced zonal support to the foot. Recognizing that the lateral and medial sides of the foot have their own unique characteristics, we've developed the Support Beams to be asymmetrical and anatomically correct.
+ 3-D Molded J Bar. Working with the memory foam, the 3-D Molded J Bar helps provide support and a custom fit. The J Bar gives some structure to the memory foam with one result: heel lift is eliminated.
+ Level 2 Insole. Our level 2 insole comes with full-length memory foam for a molded fit and Dual Density EVA construction for optimum board and terrain feel.
